Hailing from Fremont, California, Caitlin is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast. She is currently a junior at the University of Oregon studying environmental studies and geology. Along with this project, she is also a leader in Intervarsity campus ministry, member of Beyond War, and works in the residence halls as a desk assistant. Her favorite nature writer, John Muir, serves as her main inspiration behind her desire to connect people to the world around them.

Megan is a student of Environmental Studies and Biology at the University of Oregon. Her academic path puts a strong focus on social ecology, ecological restoration, and botany. She enjoys hiking, photography, creative writing and custom jewelry-making in her spare time. Megan hopes to spend the rest of her life working towards justice for both the environment and for those who live in it.

Alicia studies environmental science, biology and art. She is a senior at the university and specializes in ecology and photography. Along with the Environmental Leadership Program, this year she is working in a biology lab on campus, writing an honors thesis and working for the Office of Sustainability. Originally from Long Beach, California, she enjoys hiking, camping and spending time on the beach.  

 

Emma is a senior at the University of oregon and majors in Environmental Science. A true Oregon native, Emma loves to explore the state through hikes and road trips, documenting her adventures through photos, and is often accompanied by her trusty black lab, Eastwood. After graduation, Emma hopes to pursue habitat and water quality restoration in the Pacific Northwest.  

 

Growing up in Eugene, Jalen was surrounded by green trees, rushing rivers and cheerful friends.  Jalen is majoring in Environmental Studies. She believes strongly in protecting our environment and living sustainably. Jalen hopes to incorporate photography and conservation in her future career. She enjoys photography, renewable energy, her dog Stella, reading, Netflix, hiking, and baking.

Currently pursuing an Environmental Science degree from the University of Oregon, Trevor is looking to put his scuba diving skills to work in the tropics.  As a professional scuba instructor, he hopes to use his leadership position to demonstrate environmentally responsible practices, teach ecological monitoring methods, and encourage stewardship of nature.
